v-spools in ambassateurs

anybody put v-spools in 4600 ambassateurs? opinons,feedback would be appreciated. thanks pete

Pete,I've tried the V-spools,and the do give you a little more casting distance due to their lightness,and decreased line capacity,which also cuts down on spool weight.What model 4600 are you using? A bearing upgrade,or bearing supported worm gear will also increase casting distance.I've upgraded most of my reels with the C5 worm gear,ABEC 5 or 7 bearings,and bearing supported cog wheel.I did a reel upgrade tutorial using these parts.Let me know if this helps you out,Oldschool
