Inserting Photos Using PhotoBucket

Article Name: Inserting Photos Into Forum Posts
Revision Author: Spike-A-Pike
Description: How to insert pictures inside of a TU forum post or reply

Category: Site Tutorials
Type: Introduction

Open a Photobucket account or similar, it's free. Upload your photo's. Once done, display the photo you want to use.

To include an image that is located on another website, you can do so by copying the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located), and either pressing the 'Insert Image' icon or by typing after it, ensuring that you do not have any spaces before or after the URL of the image.

You may like to know this too:
Linking and displaying images from other website which do not belong to you is called hot-linking and usually dislike (to put it mildly) by the owner of the image for copyright issues and the use of their website bandwidth to serve the image up to another site. Best policy is unless specifically allowed, consider it disallowed.

This is strictly a reference to member photos on a free photo hosting service and not "Hot-Linking" as in steeling a company's videos or photos.

From Photobucket:
"Photobucket. Where millions upload and share their photos and videos. Upload all your photos, videos, and images for free. Make photo slide shows to share pics with friends. Host and share videos with us - we are one of the most popular video hosting sites in the world."
