The only reason I asked about using the Olive oil in the plastic was in case U had been using a scent and added it in together ... otherwise no need to add it ot the plastic ... PACKING is the main use.

Cod liver oil was mentioned, that is the first scent oil I ever saw, was sold by Herters in the 60's.

If you are adding worm oil to allow for easier packaging, why not just use a few drops of scent? I give the baits a squirt while they're setting up. The next day they are still slick and package easily. Just curious because I've never used worm oil.
For myself, there's nothing worse than trying screw on a slippery bait on a shakey head!

I have been using sented oil and olive oil on my molds just to help release. The only reason I don't like to use the sented is it is also colored. So I use the sented on them after they cool that way they dont suck up the green "stickey liquid".
