wow looked at that lurecraft link, over 50 cents a bag? little bit high, I use standard 4 mil bags, and have no problems with them. a 1000 will run about 38.00 delivered.. I see way too many people add drops of oil or scent to the baits in the bag and maybe that's why they leak, might be adding a bit too much.

I use a tupperware container and add a few drops to that and swish them around, then pack them, when I seal a ten pack I push all the air out and it's pretty tight, a 10 count bag will have all the baits stacked one on top of the other and they stay that way. I have now mastered the art of 2 finger zip locking while pushing all the air out

Ozark Plastics also carries them. I bought mine from Johnson but if I remember right, you have to spring for a case.

Laminate bags are more but if the angler keeps your baits for anytime in their boat or outside, they will pay off for you. Anything less than laminate will allow moisture into the bags and to alter the softness of the baits. If the baits contain salt, they will essentially be ruined.

I tested all types of 3 mil and 4 mil bags out down here in South GA (100% humidity almost all summer) and had the same results...moisture in the bags.

Spend a couple extra bucks and go with laminate. You will not regret it!

I only pour for myself and a few friends who supply me with their old 9"&12" trolling sassies. I just use Hefty ziplock freezer baggies to store plastics at home and on the boat, available in any grocery store. I don't use scents so leakage is not an issue. 1 qt baggies for 4"&5" stuff and 1 gal baggies for stuff up to 9". I prefer the baggies with the sliding ziptap, much easier to operate during a panic filled blitz of stripers or blues. Also, a shot of PAM in each bag minimizes annoying cling.
