Crawberry Colored Lures

Just wondering if anyone has attempted to duplicate the color "Crawberry". Just ordered some molds and don't have a large quantity of plastic to experiment with. Would like to make different kinds of lures in that color or close to it. Thanks.

I would start with 1/3rd cup plastic, add 2-3 drops watermelon and flake should be close! Let me know.

Culchie,
What brand of colors do you have? I may have a recipe for something close, but different brands produce different colors.

I was thinking of green pumpkin with a drop or two of amber yellow. 152nd, you may be right about the orange though. Might have to try this one for real.

Re: Crawberry Colored Lures

This is a tough one.

Looks like Lc green pumpkin(start with 2 drops in 4 oz) and 4 drops of LC chartreuse or flo yellow. There looks to be some sort of yellow in it. You will have to adjust the green from there.

Don't forget, you'll get some color transfer from the glitter as well.

Re: Crawberry Colored Lures

I use LC coloring. I may have to order some more colors. I'm sure they have new colors since the last time I molded any lures. So I guess it will be trail and error with small amounts. If I think I have anything close, I will let you know. Don't know if I'll have the chance to try it until after the dreaded family vacation though. Thanks for the suggestions.

Re: Crawberry Colored Lures

I was thinking like Nova. But remember if you use flor. yellow it needs to be mixed before heating.

Re: Crawberry Colored Lures

Try 4 drops green pumkin, 1 drop watermelon, and 1 drop yellow. Then add you flake. That should get you close.
