While oredering some more supplies from LC I noticed a new swimbait mold that looked perfect for where I fish (and my newb pouring skills) , Just got the mold today, poured one for a test swim in the pool and am shocked at how awesome it swims!! Thumps pretty hard and tracks great with just a slight body roll,. I've never added eyes to soft plastics, so i melted some plastic and bingo ! Hurricanes are good for getting some pours done; between Fay,Gustav and Ike, I am getting lots of practice! Kim and the gang are super cool and patient with all my stiupid questions!
Nice , I like the clear with the gold flake, can I ask what kind of plastic you used, hard ,med or soft , I just poured a test mold of a swimbait like the 316 mission fish and it gets some tail movement but not what im looking for. I used some remelted senko's , the mold came out nice but too soft to swim I think.
