Anyone know the approximate quantity of 3 inch shads a person could get from a pint or quart of the soft plastic resin? I want to get some from a supplier and Im not sure what I need.

Re: Soft Plastic Cookbook

You're not going to believe me but I would not ever buy a quart of plastic. I started with a gallon and within two weeks I ordered 5 gals. You will go through it a lot faster than you think.

You will ruin more plastic than you imagine while you are in the initial learning curve.

Re: Soft Plastic Cookbook

I prefer LC's brown for the pumpkinseed. Start with 2 drops and work upward until you get the color you want.

Re: Soft Plastic Cookbook

"Mystery Melt"
All your scrap plastic leftover from pours. eg. plastic that wasnt quite enough to pour another bait, trimmings, etc etc

It usually comes out a dark color, most the times black, with lots of different flake. You get some pretty neat looking baits
