What Kind Of Valspar Sealer Do You Use To Seal Your Homemade Molds? What Is The Exact Name? My Baits Are Cloudy. How Do I Get Them To Shine.

Lightbulb Re: Plaster And Rockhard Putty

I use or have used Devcon 2-Ton epoxy (Walmart), Envirotex Lite (Hobby Lobby, Micheal's Crafts) and high heat spray enamel paint (Auto stores, Walmart) to seal my homemade molds.

All work great and give a nice shiney bait. If you use the high heat enamel, be sure to use at least 2 coats to seal and wait 2 days before pouring.

Each listed above will need to be applied at least 2 times as the first coat will absorb into the plaster or putty and not really coat...

Jim

PS I have not used any valspar yet but I know others have...
