How many Senkos or Worms will a gallon make?
I'm trying to do a little math here, I woud like to know approx. how many 5" worms or senkos will a gallon of plastic make? THANKS!

about 350 to 450 depending on what addtives you add and if you remelt your scraps
on worms it could be as high as 1800 but it depends alot on the worm as some are smaller than others and take less plastic

On senkos I get 15 per 4 ounces of plastic. I add 2 ounces of salt and 1 oz. of softener. So the total volume is about 7 oz., but only 4 oz of it is Plastic.
So that would be 480 senkos

I,m pouring 8 o/z plastic, 4 o/z salt, 1 o/z softner and color and gleeters to taste on dels senko mold . reheating the scraps and i'm geeting 27 per pour. 430 per gallon of plastic.

I just poured 1 gal. plus 2 cups ( 18 cups ) today, with 6 cups of salt.( not flowered )
I got 463 5" worms from a 2 piece mold, this was not remelting the tops. so that is 25.7222222 per cup
Each bait weighed roughly 10.72 grams
