Re: Perch Bait?

Nice baits One Sock.... How many times have you picked up a bait and said "If I was a fish, I'd eat that"!!! So you buy a couple and NEVER get bit!!!!

My favorite colors (and best producers) swirled are yellow and bubblegum... :-)

Re: Perch Bait?

never swirled the bubblegum, but yellow is a big seller for me, anything with yellow in it seems to be a favorite with smallie fisherman.

Re: Perch Bait?

They like yellow because of its resemblence to a perch!!!! One of the biggest sellers for me is a color called Steve's Mustad. A mustard yellow color with black and silver flake. It slays the smallies!!!!

Re: Perch Bait?

and the yellows don't work too well in my area, smokes and watermelon out sell everything, but my triple purple is doing really well for those who use it, can't keep them in stock... which is good, but i'm not big enough to pour as much as ya'll so it keeps me busy and cuts into fishing time lol

I tried a dark watermelon and bubblegum swirl this afternoon, with your tips, turned out okay... definately looks different, only 2 months to go before bass season opens!!

Re: Perch Bait?

Great looking baits...I would have thought that was impossible with a hand pour!
