Need Help Quick

I bought my domain name. I know alot about HTML so I decided to do the designs myself.I used a program called bluevoda. It said it was free but after I built my website with them they made it so I could only upload and host the site with bluevoda company by wrapping the website builder in a .bvp file. So I explored a bit and I found how to get the HTML code from the .bvp but now when I try to host that HTML the pictures come up as boxes with a little X in them. Does anyone know what I can do? I dont want to host with bluevoda because its expensive and I would have to buy a new domain nam pluus I heard their service isn that great. The website builder itself is AMAZINGLY EASY but like I said converting to HTML is a problem
Please help if you can!
Thanks

Re: Need Help Quick

Check the links of your pictures. The red x means that it can not find them where you pointed the html to. Make sure that you upload your pictures to the host server and have the correct path name in the href in the html code. Hope this helps!

Re: Need Help Quick

I know absolutely nothing about building websites and coding however those are just caused by broken links since you used a "proprietry" software to code your site html. You need to look at the html to see if they are absolute or relative path plus put the images in excat same folder in new site.
You have found out the hard way that there is no such thing as a free lunch

Re: Need Help Quick

dayooper and cheesehead nailed it. The url in the code for your images is wrong. You either need to fix it to point to the images, or if you haven't already, upload all of the site images to a directory (folder) with the exact same name. Post the url of your site if you need more help.

Re: Need Help Quick

Did you put all of the images in a folder on the server? If so, you need to change the image urls to include the folder name.

Right now you have:

Re: Need Help Quick

It looks like the pictures on your site do not point to any directory.

<img src="bob.bmp"

Change your htlm to be this:

<img src=http://www.bobbyanddereckscustomlure...MEHERE/bob.bmp

That should work for you.
Can you hit the pictures directly by typing in their URL in your internet explorer?

What is your folder name that you put the pictures in on your site?
