Website Help

Hey guys,
I am very happy with my website, and the guy who put it together for me has done an excellent job. (better than i could do for sure) But I guess the server or host we are on has lots of popups. At first I didnt mind, because we were just getting everything rolling, but now I am afraid these pop ups might be running people off. I know it drives me nuts and I have DSL. I cant imagine trying to view it with a dial up connection. So my question is, where would you guys suggest moving the site to to avoid these problems at a cheap rate.

The other question I have has to do with pictures on the website. My products actually look alot better than the site shows. I have a digital camera, but it does not do macros. The picstures pretty much look like crap, and I would really like to improve the look of the products. I notice most of your sites have excellent picture quality and I thought some of you could help. Thanks alot
John Huffman

oh yea..... www.kidlizard.com I guess that would help..

Hi John,
I have been round and round with picture problems myself, and I can tell you that for me it was best to bite the bullet and pay for a nice digital camera with a macro lense. I use a Sony Cybershot P-71 model. I first purchased the P-51 (for $100 less), but it didn't have a macro lense. I wasn't happy with it, so I paid the extra money and upgraded. Now I love my camera!! My only regret is not buying it long before I did.
As for picture taking, I'm sure there are lots of different opinions, but I have found that taking them in direct sunlight is best. Just make sure you position the camera so you don't have a glare in the lense. My second option is pitch dark with the flash on. Anything in between seems to suck for me.
Chris
