.com, .net., .biz?
The domain name I wish to use is not available with a .com or .net extension, but is available with .biz. Is .biz a viable option?

I wont ask what name your looking to register, but make sure there wont be any conflicts or confusion with whatever people/companies hold the original .com/net/org/info names.
Theres nothing stopping you from registering the .biz extension, its been available for a couple years now. Usually companies looking to guard thier domain buy every available extension to thwart spoof sites from cloning thier sites.
I own a few .info domains & theres another public one called .tv
