Hi jrfan8,
Nice concept, It's like clicking a thumbnail to enlarge the picture, Without the clicking. Pretty neat idea but I can't tell you how they do it. I know that's not what you wanted to hear. Just wanted to say I liked the idea. Someone will tell you how he does it. Stay tuned.

Yeah I think it's actually dynamic html and it's pretty cool. I'll look into it more and see what I come up with.

I tried viewing the source code but to no avail. Its a frames site so you can only see the code from the first frame.
My guess is that it's done with a show and hide layer script with the layer attatched to the cursor position and triggered by the cursor rollover on the small image.
I know how to do it with the exception of attatching the layer to the cursor position. Dreamweaver has the ability to make such a page layout. It isn't complicated but you need an understanding of how your programming affects your page layout with regards to layer positioning and different screen resolutions.
I'm guessing that you could also do it using Iframes but if you could figure out how to make the layer follow the cursor, that would be a better setup.
You could also do it with an "open url" script (behavior) triggered by a roll over event but I think you would have to click the bigger picture to close it once you were done viewing it.
Sorry for the tech talk. Sometimes it's fun to talk about sumtin sides bass fishin.

Without a doubt JavaScript!

Well... I can tell you it's a Java Script... The name of it is tooltip.js... Now it's just a matter of finding it...

I'll keep looking for you and see if I can find it... If not... Just View Source and edit the html. The biggest problem your going to have is the Table might have to stay just like his site.

I'll see what I can do or find.

I do have a JavaScript sort of like that... try going to www.theblindsfactory.com Click on the interactive page, the wait for the script to load then take the name over the text. Just keep in Mine the first time someone visit's the site or has a dial up connect... It's going to load slow for the person.

I recently did the same thing on my site. Its on the page named 'tournament winning colors'. I used a java script from http://javascriptkit.com The only thing I don't like about it is, on mine, you have to wait until all of the images are loaded up before it works.
