Web Hosting Questions

I'm thinking about making my own website and don't know much about the web hosting side of it. Was wondering if some of you could give me advice.

What are good companies to go with?

What is a reasonable rate per month for an entry level hosting package?

Where should I register my domain name?

I registered my domain name at www.godaddy.com for $9.00 or so.
Im still hunting for someone to host my site.
I will need a shopping cart too.
Let me know what you find out.

Jerry, are you still hosting some sites?

Yes we are still offering hosting, I havnt advertised it lately because I wanna make sure the clients we have now are happy.

I made a mistake when we first rolled it out, by not mentioning that website design isnt included, so I had to make websites for all our preregistered clients. I enjoyed doing it but it was time consuming for one person. (me)

We can take on more clients now, but note, although the hosting is fully featured:
(databases, stats, email, dynamic scripting, frontpage extensions, etc.)
website design will be extra, if you dont intend on building it yourself or have a designer to do it for you.

As time permits,
I'm usually happy to design for next to nothing, but I have quite a list of guys in line already.
