Use a small triangle file to open up the groove for the shank and a small de-burring bit in a dremel to enlarge the pocket for the hook eye. Go slow and easy and keep checking the hook until it fits. The next problem you may have is the base pin hitting the point of the hook. A file or a fine wheel on a bench grinder taken to the pin will resolve that, but it is a very fine line between enough and too much. I ruined a few base pins before I got it right. Hope this helps.

Barlows has them now (the 38109's in 3/0). They had about a half of a box when I left there. Call them, or better, if you get up this way stop in. I think they were trying to fill "large" mail orders first with what they have. I found out they have had them for a few weeks but over the phone, I was told they still didn't have them. Good luck
