anyone tried to make a regular roundhead jig mold into a flick shake mold that uses a hook similar to the ones used by Zappu? i know theyre made out of tungsten but i dont think i could get the lead pot to 3000 degrese. thanks Willie525

You can use any of the round head jigs for the flick shake technique no matter what collar it has. It does not interfere with the technique. If you really must have the jig without a collar you can cut it off. I have used a cheap pair of wire strippers to cut the collar at the head. then a pair of nippers to cut the collar off of the hook. You can also slide the collar back on the hook a bit and melt it off with a micro torch, be careful not to overheat. Hope this helps.

I just bought a shakey head jig mold from do-it and it works great for making those i just left the screw lock screw out of the mold and there you go. I have actually made more flick shake jigs than i have made shakey heads, funny how that works.

ive got the shakey head mold. i want to put a hook like Zappu uses in it, i wonder if that Vanfook hook thing sells jig hooks?
