What bender are you guys using to get Twisted Eyes instead of R-Bends for spinnerbaits? I am making a thin wire diameter spinnerbait and want to do twisted eye's and twisted blade loops.
I have the Hagen's wire bender. It doesn't get as much use as it should. But I personally found that if I can buy pre-bent wire forms, I do in a heart beat. To me it's much easier than trying to bend wire. Unless you want a special wire diameter, than you have no choice but to bend your own.
Just for the record, I think the Hagen's bender is the only one that can bend in-line eyes, twisted eyes and R bends. They sell a different bender to make wire coiled spinners.
