On another day, it'll be one of your spinners that lands the prize. There are always lessons to learn from; like what was different about the spinner that caught the fish and your designs, was it the action of the lure, maybe the color - there are a lot of different factors that could have a bearing on it, but you need to keep making them and improving your design. I don't understand why you are fishing someone elses product, when you have a bag of your own little gems. You will not catch fish on your own lures and thus build confidence in them, unless you get them wet.
