Recessed Line Tie Molds?

Does anyone know of any mold out there like the Berkley football jig and Picasso's? Where the line tie is recessed?

Thanks

Re: Recessed Line Tie Molds?

I just talked to a guy the other day that is looking for the same mold. He said he thinks that it hasn't came out yet. He has talked to Do-It and they wounldn't give him any info if their comming out with one. I have been trying to find a football one like that. I am going to start pour lead this winter but I can't find a mold I like.

Re: Recessed Line Tie Molds?

I had a request for a couple also. This is a custom mold, and as of this writing I don't think it is available anywhere. You can have it custom made. I don't believe Do-It is going to entertain making this. There are lot of problems with people stealing other people's ideas. It's one thing making these for yourself, and another thing making them and selling them. Just my .

Re: Recessed Line Tie Molds?

I think I saw that Do-It is coming out with this mold. From the picture I couldn't tell if it was a football or regular roundhead mold. It was featured in the Icast coverage by Bassdozer www.bassdozer.com. They are also coming out with a weighted hook mold for the 91768BLN and a regular offset shank worm hook.

Actually here is the link you need to see the Do-it stuff: http://www.bassdozer.com/articles/icast2008.shtml

Well that's good to know, I always look for something new from Do-It. I spoke to them about 2 weeks, and they said they had some new items in the line-up but wouldn't say what for sure.

Re: Recessed Line Tie Molds?

I will take the buzzbait mold and the flutter jig. That is if the flutter jig is two sided mold(eyes on both sides) and sounds like you can add brass eyes for a line tie. I see the hole in its mouthThinking you add a leader and hook on a split ring(so the hook sits below the lead). I hope it not an open face mold.
