this is the weedless arky mold with the ring and flair collar using 60 deg flat eyed hooks. its made to fit a light wire hook (Mustad 32798 ) and id like to be able to use the mustad 32796 BLN heavy hook for flipping. has anyone ever done this mod?

if youve done it before or have done a similar mod, id be happy to pay you for your time if you could mod one for me. let me know.

Easiest way to modify the mold would be to use a dremmel to widden the hook cavaties. I have modified molds to pour flat eye hooks into molds that did not accept them before it is really easy.

For the hookeye get 3/16" Silicon Carbide Grinding Stones

And for the hook shank use Heavy Duty Cut-Off Wheel 15/16" Diameter

If you decide to use the smaller hooks again you will probably have a little bit of over pour to trim off, but it's not hard to do.
