Wire Tying Rattles

Do any of you guys have experience tying rattles to jigs, i.e... rattles breaking off over time or other issues? I hand tie almost all of my jigs using 24 gauge wire and would like to offer my customers rattles that are tied on as well but do not want something that is not going to last.

Thanks
Ashley

Re: Wire Tying Rattles

I take a spider rattle collar and cut it so that the collar is gone then I just tie in the arm under the skirt. So that people can add rattles if they want to. The arms just dangle there until you put the rattles in. See the link below for the rattle collar I use. If you still have questions maybe I can put a picture up for you. Hope this helps.
