  4. I use CS Coatings Seal-Coat on my jigging spoons. Very little to no smell. Two to three coats depending if I do an initial coat with glitter in it. Dip and drip. Being water based it can also be thinned and applied through an airbrush. After a few days of cure time it seems rock solid.
  5. Do you know any clearcoat that does not have a extreme smell?
  6. From my experience with Solarez UV resin, I think any UV resin would add weight that would affect the side to side fall of a casting spoon.
  7. Sorry, I don't know of any, but I'm sure they're out there. Most local lumber yards get samples of new products. See if they'll let you float test those to see which one is most buoyant. You can do it in a tupperware container full of their water.
  8. Would brushing alumi uv on spoons work, i have used kbs but as for now the smell of kbs is very strong for me so i want to opt out of it and looking for alternatives that would work on spoons with less odor
  9. Personal use doesn't absolve you from being sued for patent infringement.
  10. You should contact them directly and request one. They should be able to provide you with a Safety Data Sheet.

  13. Besides your basic colors you should also get Pearl white, pearl black, silver, sepia, metallic charcoal, moss green, burnt sienna, and ochre yellow. Wish I had known about these colors when I was new to painting.
  14. Thanks for sharing! you've made some pretty cool stuff. You had a picture of a speed trap body that you made from that PVC trim board. There really isn't anywhere near me that has Azek products. Do you know if any of the products major retailers like Menards, Lowes, Home Depot sell are similar buoyancy to that of the product you use?
  15. Welcome to TU........interesting first post LOL. I used to copy baits a very old fashioned way with plaster of paris, but nowadays everyone is so copyright happy that I wouldn't want to copy ANYTHING! Even if you say it's just for personal use. I've read this many times and that personal use usually widens over time. Good luck
  16. New to the game and interested in what colors yall would recommend to start out with. Not looking to buy every color imaginable to start with but maybe 10 or so. Mainly be making shad and bream colored plugs.

  19. Another way to make blade jigs If you can get a Sparkie mold from doit molds and get the clip and 5/0 mustad spinner bait hooks you can make your own. There are videos on making your own blade baits on you tube. Just dont sell them you'll be fine.
  20. I have custom molds in 3/8oz. & 1/2oz. That I make my blade bodies each mold have 4 cavities each.
  21. We used to put pennies on the railroad track when we were kids. There was no design but they flattened out pretty good...LOL!!! Anyway, those are really cool and it is a fantastic idea, well done!!!!
  22. The best thing to do is talk to your better business bureau, it is free and they will answer or direct you to the right place. Every state has different laws regarding business licenses.
  23. They used to be a common thing at arcades, carnivals, and theme parks, after WW2.

    Molds

There is always a chance to sell it to one person but not always likely. Biggest problem I see is shipping cost....List it and see is the only way.
