I am 15 years old and I made this rattle-can+paint brushed 7" 3oz threadfin shad glider that was hand carved from cedar.

Nice job. Good looking bait. Did you remember to put your initials on the bait somewhere with the date made? An artist should sign his work somewhere. I like to put mine inside the V joint in the back of front section. Sometimes I make my name or initials part of the paint job. I did that in the jointed firetiger bait in the stripes.

Thanks! I was thinking about that last night, I am probably going to do it on the inside of the joint like you said. I am opting against putting it on the belly because that would probably seem unnatural to the bass. The idea of making it part of the paint job is pretty slick too. Thanks Jim!

The lure isn't clear coated yet either, I am doing that tonight. Then I am going to try to fish with it Thursday or something like that.
