  2. I ordered the regular (not “mini”) version of the rip Shad yesterday, I’m impressed with the first 2 molds I got from them (3” mini rip and 2.75” mayhem ned bug), took advantage of the Black Friday sale they have going at the moment and got the original, which is similar to the Doit ripper

  3. Someone over on the Facebook page had them custom made. Only had them made in 2/O and only sold like a 1000 at a time.I have made some using a modified Do-It mold and the sinker inserts just make sure they are the steel ones and not the brass ones.....so far no failures.

  5. Here's an update just in case someone wants to know what I came up with. I bought Kosher Sea Salt and Morton Table Salt. I use a 50/50 mix and grind it for about 3-4 seconds with a coffee grinder. I just make sure not to make it into a powder but I still want to grind it to crush both types of salts down a little bit. Grinding will help with the suspension of the salt and the 50/50 mix helps with the clarity but there is still a noticeable change in color. I have not tried the glass beads yet since I don't want to scratch up my injector. Maybe some day down the line but I think this mix is working well for me. Thanks to this forum and everyone here for helping me understand how to use salt in my baits.

  6. I have found by using a small fan over the jigs as the weedguards dry, you will not get the white powdery residue, or you can use D2T.

  7. You have to use the gel super glue, regular super glue wicks up the fibers of the weed guard.

  9. I simply pull the wire over a wooden dowel at 90 degrees. Works well enough. Dave
