  1. Thanks for sharing that Norwegian. Very telling video. I’ve always been a proponent of letting the fish tell you what they want and your video is proof they like your mix. Well done. Wish I had some.

  4. man ive caught a lot of bass on a green pumpkin hack attack jig with a 4" chigger craw. it'd be a great way to build confidence. ive had good success with jigs on clear water fishing deep weed lines. most people figure jigs for shallow water but sometimes bass really like the vertical fall, and most strikes will come that way, often you'll just see your line move.

  5. Probably by mixing water soluble and not so water soluble substances in the right proportion. I can unfortunately not go in depth on exactly what is in it but I have spent a lot of time making such a gel. Edit: here is some underwater video of the gel. Two identical baits, one with the gel. This is not a commercial product.

  6. This is just my opinion but "not water soluble" is very relative. There are components of oils that is soluble in water. This may mean only a very small amount can be dispersed in a a lot of water but as fish can detect some substances in 1 part per many millions it can not be ruled out even if they are defined as "practically insoluble". Also, taste may play a part.
