Thank you for a fine and exciting day on the Lake Chip. It was a good day. That's the most bass I have caught in years. Chip kept telling me he was going to put the rock bait on my line. Actually we had a great day and Chip is a good natured and super friendly guy. But He told me he could do wonders with his photo shop program, Do you see my belly? I thought he would reduce it some, and make the fish bigger. I should have bribed him with money, or let him catch more fish. Chip is right Nathan, That Rat is something else. I kept waiting for it to disappear. Just didn't happen today. I put it on so Chip could see the action and how it sets in the water. Darn nice little mouse. Thanks again Chip for a great day on the Lake.

Hey Chip, They say possible thunder showers in the morning. If that's the case and we have to wait a bit to go out on Deer Lake, I would be honored to see your operation. You can take me to your site of operation blindfolded and swear me too secrecy before we go in. What do you think?

Fish_N_Fool You are still in if you want to be. You have until the 31st to get them in the mail. I've been getting some already and if I were to get them before the 31, then I would get them back to you. But no problem if you can get them in the mail by the 31st. Hi Rob, You're on the right track. Nice looking trebles. The whole bait looks real nice. Good coloring. The fur I mentioned might work on those mice. The buck tail's will work, but you might have to come up with a different body style. Keep playing with it, you might be able to use the info I gave you. What you have there looks pretty good for just getting started. Keep us posted and keep up the good work. Be nice to your tier.

Coley, I'm glad you mentioned it. I'm having the same problem. My PC is doing the same thing. I've been wondering if I have a problem. I had mentioned it to Jetty over a week ago, and he never said anything. So I just thought I had a problem. When I open a page, it'll show open and it'll be 40 to 45 seconds before the page opens. It's trying on the nerves when you are trying to view 4 or 5 threads. I can move all over the net with no problem. Here on my favorite and most often visited all day long site, I think there is an overload some where. What do you think g8r?

Yep, Three swaps in the running right now. Jig, Soft Plastic, and Salt water in the making. I think it might be better to wait a bit. But of course if you have time to tie up some pretty sexy neat looking beauties now, then tie away and you'll be ready for the swap when we have it. Let's shoot for late fall when you need a rest from deer hunting and the cold weather if your lucky enough to get any where you are. Any more suggestions from anyone else?

Let's see how much interest we have in such a venture at this time of the year. Personally I would like to see a fly swap in the late fall when things slow down a bit. What do you think? It can be done but I think we would need at least 10 participants.

Carp on a fly rod is as good as carp on a spinning rod or arrow w/reel. They work great in the rose garden.
