  1. Perhaps if we handled the negative things ourselves, without posting them for all to see, - and only gave kudos, thumbs-up, or accolades to a job well done, this forum, and the world at large would be a better place in which to live. When I was a kid, and didn't have anything good to say about anyone or anything my parents made damn sure I didn't say it again. Jann's Netcraft, by the way, is a 1st class act.
  2. Just got off the phone with Wright-McGill. Some hooks are still made in the U.S.A. And some styles are now made in China. Didn't ask which.
  3. Kim and Bojon, lookin' foward to both!
  4. What Jim said! I spoke with Kim this morning, she is a pleasure to speak with and order from. I called in an order last week, sent out my check the next morning and my order arrived this morning! If you haven't ordered from LC lately, go ahead. Good people! Just like Del and April, and the people at M-F. Kim, take care of those allergies. Lyncke

    Hello

Heavycover, welcome. Great website, greater product! Lyncke Make a fishin' pact - don't ever stop!
  6. Happy Fathers day to all Dads and Dads to be. The chance to fish with our families is indeed a special gift. To all Dads currently serving or veterans, THANK YOU!!!!! To the children who are currently serving, THANK YOU!!!!! I pray that they will be back fishing with their Dads very soon. My father will turn 81 in a couple weeks, he served with the 8th army air corps at Normandy and at the Battle of Britain. All WWII veterans are my heroes. 7. My son-in-law makes crankbaits, top water, and saltwater lures. He's earning a pretty good reputation with area fishermen. I really believe his humility completes the package. So. . . . . what Skeeter, Mylures, and Mojo said, AMEN! Lyncke Make a fishin' pact - don't ever stop!
  8. You are right about the color and Zoom. I do know that Mann's sells a scuppernong Jelly worm. Don't see that color sold in here in New England. I've been wanting to fish scuppernaing Jelly worms since I read in Bassmaster close to thirty-five years ago, that they were the bait of choice for Harry n' Charlie. lol If anyone has a scuppernong recipe, please post. Good luck, BB's. Lyncke Make a fishin' pact - don't ever stop!
  9. Blades, Wonderful story! Everyone who reads your post can relate. Yes, there is a Higher Power! And I'm sure he has a special fondness for fishermen. Especially for fathers who took the time to take their sons, (and daughters) fishin'. My family will pray for your father. Besides, he still hasn't caught his biggest bass yet. 10. Skeeter, Just came across this article today. Exceptional! I'm going to get my son to read your article. His theory is, throw any lure you want, as long as it's a crankbait. Works for him as he produces with c-baits. Continue to write articles - you have a gift. Lyncke Make a fishin' pact - don't ever stop!
  11. Hey Skeeter, My son opened a bait and tackle shop when he was thirteen years old. He will turn twenty-one this year and the buisness has grown slowly and steadily since then. I, he, we, would be glad to PM you with any help we can. Lyncke Make a fishing pact - don't ever stop!
  12. Hey Senkoman, Someone from my neck-o'-the-woods! I live in Bridgewater, MA. I too, just recently joined. Are you as sick of this winter as I am? Spring is only sixteen days away, and we,ve had snow on the ground since the beginning of January! Kinda makes you appreciate the good weather all the more. The only things that have gotten me through the winter are lure making, the Red Sox, and the Patriots. I usually fish the south shore and the Cape. Any favorite water around these parts? We usually fish Dunham Pond in Carver. Ever get over there? Lyncke
  13. Hi All, Been flyin' under the radar for almost a year now, finally joined today. I've been fishin' for about thirty-eight years, and because a friend gave me a pack of al's worms a little over three? years ago, I started pouring. I can only hope to become half the pourer Chris is. Well done, Chris! This site only serves to prove what I've always said about fishermen, if you're looking for a true friend - go to the water! Glad I listened to my wife and finally joined! Lyncke (pronunced Link)
