  1. I use a truner but dont heatset. Sound like I am applying the first coat too thick too. I'll try heating and a very thin first coat.....Thanks!!
  2. I use Createx paint and sometimes after I apply the DN clearcoat, it wrinkles the paint. Anyone ever seen this and have a solution? Do I need to seal the paint before applying the DN? Any help is appreciated.
  3. I generally use 2 for spinnerbait skirts and 2.5 - 3 for jig skirts.
  4. Take a small drill bit and open the holes on the blade slightly. Dont use the drill, turn it by hand. Next, sand the surface of the rivet that makes contact til its flat. Next, rough up the bottom ear on the blade where it makes contact with the rivet with a small file. Last crimp the rivet.
  5. Thanks guys....I had soem clogged paint in the barrell between the nozzel and the cup.
  6. I was painting and all was well but after a cleaning and color switch I cant get the spray right. I am first getting a heavy splatter, then normal spray that tapers off to no spray at all. I have cleaned it as well as I can and it does not appera that the needle is bent. Any advice? Thanks
  7. Ted, I already told you, it aint for sale!!!
  8. Understandable, and I've been snowed under too. But word of mouth is everything in this business. I would rather give someone an honest answer and have them go elswhere if I cant meet a deadline than have them mad at me and posting about it on a forum.
  9. Thanks Rip, I have some of that. I was looking for a heavier material that would have more space between scales and the net is perfect.
  10. Are you kidding??? I hope yall can find someone who takes care of their customers. I have been in a similar situations. Honesty and communication goes a long way.
  11. Chuck will design the mold exactly to your specs. Only after you approve will the final production mold be built.
  12. Just wanted to let yall know that you can buy bags that are for delicate laundry at WalMart and it is the same material pattern as the large minnow nets. But you get more material for about a third of the price.
  13. I just remembered the bag that you use in the wash to put delicate stuff in has a nice mesh. ( I dont do laundry) haha
  14. Thanks, I found what I was looking for.
