Thanks John, simple little deal in which I tried to make a good Alabama craw pattern to work with those color trailers and I too liked the way it came out, thanks again.
-
I did bake it after I put the stripes on, one of the cool things with Quick Coat lure markers is they are actual paint and not ink. I didn't put clear powder but instead used Devcon 2-Ton Epoxy as a top coat.

Ben, I have to tell you that you are really good at this already!!! The use of fish hair like that is really nice, that stuff is hard to work with if you don't know how to use it and to blend it in with natural buck tail and look like that, simply awesome!!!!!
-
I like it!!!! On that kind of buck tail you want some flare and you got it!!! If I didn't know better I would not have thought this was your first, well done!!!

That is one nice spinnerbait smalljaw. You've really got spraying powder down to a science. I can't paint that well with an airbrush.
Thanks for the words RayburnGuy, I appreciate it and I'm sure you could do better with an airbrush, the sandblaster way of applying powder isn't good for detail, only color blending and layering but I do appreciate the modesty.

Small jaw, I like your work. your spinner baits are first class. I especially like the way you close the arm loop for the swivel. That is not an easy thing to do and keep it neat. By the way, Nice eye Candy, Good looking baits.
John
Thanks JBlaze, the picture is terrible, it makes the head look as if it is bumpy and the color muted, much better in person. The lock bend I use is easy to do and is worth the extra time, I do this all the time now because I found that tension with a bead doesn't always keep the loop closed but the lock bend does. Thanks for the words man but I'm not even close to the work you do.

Great idea for double wire weed guard but it seems like a lot of work, good for a few baits but not a lot of production. I have to admit that every time you do a modification, it is really well thought out and executed, thanks for the pics and description.

Great looking jig Smalljaw. The bass at Falcon really like orange and gold for some reason. I have a feeling they would eat that sucker up.
Thanks RayburnGuy, My camera isn't good at close ups so you can't see how the colors pop. The colors are brown, a little bit of metallic copper and of course, orange and the zipper craw is copper also. I call it summer craw as I never caught a bass in spring on it but it is a killer pattern in the summer when the craws here get orange on the tips of their claws.

Pure genius!!! I like the compact design of that, I may have to try that myself.
BTW, did you heat and bend the lexan to make the prop?
-
Very nice, great color!!

I really like that Bob, it gives the ability to do a double skirt if one would so choose.
