  3. I use a light box also, similar to what Cadman uses. One thing I do inside my box is curve a piece of white poster board inside vertically. The reason for this is it will eliminate any shadows created by creases. Be careful putting a light against tissue paper! Like said, it can ignite. It can also create bright spots inside the box. You want the paper to diffuse as much direct light as possible.
  4. Looking to buy about 100. If anyone is interested in pouring some to sell, i'd love to talk with you!
  5. Just ordered a couple today along with a few other baits. Really looking forward to it! I've bought DT baits in the past and was real pleased!
  6. Using a Shawn Collins mold. Everything I read was dead on. Pricey but awesome. I've never had a mold pour so well, and even though this is a SUPER narrow design, when I pour with a pot it pours perfect. Much harder by hand to get the thin flow you need. This post would suck if I didn't post a picture of one of the baits, so here ya go! Hope y'all like it.
  7. Shawn Collins makes a mold very similar if not identical.
  8. PLEASE DIREGARD. I FINALLY FOUND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR.
  9. I'm looking for what Bassdozer calls the Type R head. I've found several companies who make spinnerbaits in this design but can't seem to find a mold for it. Anyone have any ideas where I may be able to find a mold, or prepoured unpainted heads?
  10. Hey guys, i'm looking for a 50/50, Gold Nickel, willowleaf blade. Lakeland manufactures them but I cannot find them at any of the tackle suppliers and don't need 1k of them. Does anyone know where I can get them? Jann's has colorado blades but not willowleaf. The second in from the right is what i'm looking for finish wise.
  11. Anyone else have trouble with flake colors packing in the container? Every time I order a flake color, it shows up on my door step hard as a rock. I have to chop it all up and crush it back to a powder.
  12. Perfect. Im picking up a poison tail mold and plan to modify it to take a flat eye hook in this shape. Thanks!
  13. That is comparable to a Mustad 91768BLN hook but with a flat eye. Can anyone help me out?
  14. I replied to one of you in a message but the way I did my five wires was to simply bend the end to 90 degrees so it can't pull out.
  15. Here is one I made in about 5 minutes....
  16. Thank's Cadman. Ive ordered the Barlow blades you mentioned several times. I typically order blades 1k at a time per size, but im looking for better finishes.
  17. Who has the absolute most polished and best finished spinner blades out?
  18. Dennis, I sent you a paypal request. Thank's! Mike

  20. Im looking for a lure card to go in spinnerbait containers similar to the ones sold by Stamina. Anyone here use this style hanger and have a source for unprinted lure cards? Thank's!
  21. Guys I have a large amount of leftover stuff we don't use on our baits, and I wanted to offer it all here first. I figured some of you guys might be able to use this stuff. BALL BEARING SWIVELS The swivels were sold as a number 2, but they are larger than that. They are probably a size 3. They also include split rings I have one lot of these totalling 200. I will let them go for .20 cents each for a total of $40.00 Willow Spinner blades packages unopened. All Jann's Netcraft and I have the following sizes: - Nickel #2 (x2) - Nickel #2.5 (x2) - Nickel #1 (x2) - Gold #1 (x2) - Gold #2 (x2) I will let all of it go for $45.00 shipped priority mail. Post take priority. Paypal is pursuitbaits@gmail.com
  22. Please let me know what size. I sent you a PM. Thanks! Mike
  23. Hey guys, im curious as to how you guys feel these two plastics compare? Also how consistent would the colors be between the two plastics in that if I switched from one to the other, would the color formulas be totally different? Thanks.
  24. Del pretty much nailed this. I own a small bait company but we are expanding quickly. We've worked extensively with Del in designing molds and he has helped us a lot with our custom designs. When it comes to sticks, he really explained it about as in detail as you can. We use a combination of hand poured molds and injection molds. The big benefit of the hand poured stick baits is the two color worms. Granted we don't offer this as a standard item but do get custom request from time to time and this is the only way to do it. If your just starting out and doing it for yourself, then go with the hand pour. It's a lot of fun and you come up with some really cool stuff.
