  1. PUR = PolyURethane The epoxi I mention is a moldingepoxi, some people use if for the bait type I am doing. It adhere better to the lead than PUR, but is harder and by so more proone to crack when thrown into a stone. I?ll look into if there are som additive that I can use to prolong the life of my molds.
  2. I am using Silastic and 2-komp polyurethane for making molds amd baits When I have used the molds for a number of baits the mold starts to age, (actually the PUR reacts with the silicon) and the bait sticks to the mold. I have seen that this will be even more rapid when usin molding-epoxi than PUR. Is there anyway to pretreat the mold before pouring my PUR into it so that the aging process will slow down? Tech. sheat on the silicon I am using: http://www.reptech.co.uk/data_sheets/Silastic%20P-1%20Product%20Information.pdf
  3. I have a problem when applying glitter as a base on my lures. I have tryed diffrent kinds of flakes but dont get it right. I?m pasting a pic so that you see what i am trying to do. Can anyone help out??? http://www.sportfiskebutiken.se/images/Ludde_nr4_Orange.jpg
  4. Hmm... It?s a sort of hybrid between a spoon and a coastal "wobbler"... It?s unbalanced in the sense that it have a very unregular path and wiggles around a lot. Of course depending on shape. These ones goes quite shallow actuall, despite the weight , 21 grams..
  5. Hi Guys. Recently registered by have read the forums for quite a while. I mainly mold seatrout lures in plastic, but have recently picked up jerkbaits. Mainly for the fun of pinting bigger lures than the ones I use for seatrout fishing.. Here is an example of 2 new ones, made to resemble herrings.. http://www.fiskesnack.com/fotogalleri/thumbnails/18008-m.jpg
