  1. The only other option that I'd add is the recoil guides. They are super light but much more money than a good set of Alconites.
  2. For me I would go with the Graphite USA DHX704. I have not found a better rod blank for this purpose.
  3. Is there a perfered rotation progression as far as guides are concerened, and if there is, then what would that be? I'm going to give one a shot on a DHX 704 blank.
  4. I had someone ask me this, and I honestly don't know. They have some white Uncle Josh pork chunks, and want to dye them to a custom color. They asked me if they could use a soft plastic dye to do it. Any help would be appreciated since I told them I'd check around for them.
  5. I'd love to see the one you made B&D. I'm using one from Italy right now. But, when it breaks, parts take forever to make it my way.
  6. I've been pouring lead for a few years now, and the thought occured to me that I might not be being as safe as I could. I use leather gloves and a dusk mask, but was woundering what you guys recommend.
  7. Thanks for the help guys. For me it would be so much easier to answer him if it were lead.
  8. What would you sugest for a starting point on a production pot temp. setting. A friend has been burining or not melting the plastic and can't find the happy medium.
  9. For me, I think that the bluegill color is very different in various parts of the country. There can even be different color variations from lake to lake within a region. My suggestion would be to take a photo of a bluegill in a body of water that you frequent, and then try to match from the picture.
