  4. Selling everything. I dont have time anymore. Airbrushes (2) Master g23 Master G46 Master G79 Iwata HPC Iwata HPB Iwata Eclipse HP BCS ** I donot know what all parts are inluded. I know there are alot of the parts here but i do notice that some minor parts are missing. All of the guns were dissasembled and the parts became mixed up. I can tell you now that you will need needles and possibly other small parts. Guns bodies are very clean. Parts may need to be cleaned depending on preferences. If you know the anotomy of an airbrush then you can have these guns working very quickly. http://http://i209.photobucket.com/a...6/P1100912.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...6/P1100913.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...6/P1100918.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...6/P1100916.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...6/P1100915.jpg Compressors (2) Airbrush City 144AC with regulator and Moisture Traps and Hoses. 5. Has anyone ever tried modifying an existing plastic lure by adding weight to increase casting distance and then fill up any existing space in the internal chambers with high density foam? You would get increasing weight with the extra floatation of the foam. Any comments/flaws?
  6. Last time I contacted Dick Nites they took a while to get back to me aswell. Im guessing they are busy but will get back to you? I dip and then let it just drip. I have no problems at all with this and see no need for a lure turner.
  7. @Riverman I rarely dip more than one coat.I believe I have done 2 coats on less than 5 baits and I dont think i waited a full 24 hours. I had no problems but im sure waiting out the 24 hours couldnt hurt.JMHO and im sure others have had more experience with 2 coats and could chime in.
  8. I havent tried bloxygen as ive never saw any use for it.I almost never have cans dry up on me. Ive went through about 15 quarts and only have had about half a pint dry up when I first started and didnt know what i was doing. If you want to use it as a safety precaution I found it here Amazon.com: Bloxygen Finish Preserver: Home Improvement
  9. It is sensitive but not radically sensitive.I dip my lures into it and as long as you put the lid back on without wasteing time and donot let your lure drip back into the container you will be fine I buy mine in quarts and seperate it into pints. Pints are big enough to fit a lure in and lessen the risk of loseing to much at a time. When i dip the first coat is usaully pretty thick, thicker than a brush on, but when neccesary i wait until the lure is dry to the touch befor I dip again. Over time everything breaks down from hook rash and abuse. If you are very worried about messing up a paintjob I would suggest as many coats as possible with out interfering with the lures action. No heat doesnt help cure, in fact it could make the drying time longer. Dick nites is moisture cured which means it drys by the moisture in the air, not the air itself or heat. I tested one time by waiting about 2-3 hours after lure was dipped (dry to touch) and ran it under cold water. It seemed to help dry it faster but i dont know if that would cause any long term problems. Best of luck
  10. I use dick nites 100% of the time. Better than anything else out there. When you buy it you want to get the Fishermun's Lure-Coat Clear Top-Coat #S-81 It is one part but moisture cured. To keep it lasting long, keep the container sealed tight, try to do as many lures at one time, donot let anything drip or pour back into the can including the topcoat itself. Out of a quart i get a few hundred lures dipped. I dip them as i feel it is easier to just dip and then hang up and wait for drying. Others brush or spray. When spraying I thin it with alcohol and it works fine. Again its a great product and will last if you follow those precautions

    Lure ID help

strike king series 3 or 4 in the famous sexy shad color
  12. Welcome To Castaldo/F.E. Knight, Inc.'s web site Another product worth mentioning. Seems like it would work great not only for hard baits but also lures requiring lead pouring as it is resistant up to 900 degrees F Anyone used or heard of this?
  13. Good point there MTfishingrods Somehow I missed that before I think ill just stick with the RTV
  14. The stuff is called Hydrogel-Alginate. Mix 3 part water to 1 part powder.
  15. What are the best alternatives to RTV? I am making some molds of some cranks and need something other than RTV due to the setup time, prices, and ect. Ive heard of others using epoxies. What do you recomend for a mold to get medium detail at a good price, setting up in a reasonable time, and last a while? Thanks
