  1. If they are injected, I leave them hanging for 2 days, for hand pour I lay them on wax paper for 2 days. No problems so far.
  2. Be patient. I told my partners when you own your own business, you only have to work 1/2 a day. Just pick what 12 hours you want to work. Just dont try to grow to fast, take your time.
  3. So if you send someone a package 2 day priority with conformation and it takes the post office 4 days, is it your fault? I don't think so. You can't blame the business for USPS shortcomings. Once it leaves their facility, they have no control over shipping.
  4. You can also pick up aluminum flashing at lows or home depot. Real cheap and easy to work with.
  5. Always get the largest you can afford. ( you will need it as you increase the number of molds you have.)
  6. The bottom line is to do your own due diligence with a tax professional. The government WILL get his. Good luck to you all.
  7. Also check yor state tax code for inventory tax. Raw material is a tax deduction but once you make a lure, it's a salable product and inventory tax would be due.
  8. The roller blades work great. We also have carpet blades mounted in a can crusher from harbor freight and use gum rubber to press against.
  9. Yeah, I sure didn't "read " anything in that statement.
  10. We always dipped the orange and then the green pumpkin right after. Never tried the injected tubes.
  11. Yup, just purchased the 6oz injector. He shipped it out the same day.
  12. I would like a price on both models please.
  13. That's right, if you make it, uncle Sam wants his $$$.
  14. Unless you want to spend several hours per week doing paperwork... well, you know the rest lol.
  15. Yeah, craft store glitter tends to curl, bleed, and fade when heated. Personally, I wouldn't use it if that's where it came from.
  16. I keep some on hand just in case...( I accidentally mixed tube plastisol to shoot creature baits,)
  17. Bass tackle injectors are the easiest to use with the quick disconnect nozzles. Baitjunkies plastisol is the overall value pick. I would check the classifieds and Ebay for injection molds. You can pick up some good deals there.
  18. Looks like carolina pumpkin with black, and a little fuchsia, and red flake.
  19. You can try a local boat repair shop also. Most may trade some for a few bags of baits. You can also get some unique colors and they tend to have larger sizes than regular body shops.
  20. Add a little Carolina pumpkin to white.
  21. And make sure your fishing partner isn't overly clumsy or you end up with chartreuse seats lol.
  22. If you find the size / style worm you want, try injecting air into it with a hypodermic needle to make it float.
  23. Check with your plastisol supplier and ask them to sell you some MSO. MSO is essentially worm oil only cheaper because it's not called worm oil. ( and no scent or glitter.)
  24. Also put some gum rubber down to cut against. It will work a lot better than a wooden block. You can get it at Grainger fairly cheap.
