  1. Hello all, I would like any feedback from anyone that has used jacobs injection pot. Good or bad. I can no longer keep up hand injecting. Thanks.
  2. I agree with Basskat, Go to your local print/graphic shop and talk to them. I started using the printed labels about a year ago. They look great and the cost is within reason!
  3. cc skirted grub molds shoots great . shoots a great bait every time unless I screw up. Worth the money!
  4. Hello guys I think it is safe to say that we all know the vendor! I am surprised to see he IS still in business. I brought one mold from him and some supplies way back and told myself never again And I have not delt with him since!!!!!!! I would have to say I deal with the best in the business now and had never had any problems with any other vendor in this field! Why should you as a tackle manufacture have to call your customers and explain why you have not made there order yet. Never again!
  5. Hello, You can make all glitter/flake bleed if you know how. I make some baits for a guy every year that wants his baits that way. It has nothing to do with heat.
  6. Does anyone have kmolds e-mail?, I do not see it on his web site.
  7. Thanks guys for all the insite. I did finally figure it out and will take the site down this weekend and redo it and make it better. I really hate building web pages!!!!!!!!!
  8. Hello all, I need some info. I am looking into building a new web site and was just wondering what program(s) r the best from start to finish out there. I need a program that will allow me to contiue to use Pay Pal. for my check out. I also need it to have a unlimited amount of space on the drop down menus. Pay Pals drop downs only give me 10 spaces. I need like 30-40. Any info would be helpful. Thanks Tim
  9. Yep Bob's and Basstackle are now one of the same. They are cousins! ( I do belive)
  10. Ok Guy's I did not belive this at first but it does work (i guess) A old timmer I know said he used to spray his baits and soft plastic with WD 40. I thought no way. Can't be good for the fish. So being very curious about this I took a new bait and sprayed some wd 40 on it put it on a plastic coffee can lid and let it sit for a bit. Well about two weeks later I remembered it and when I checked it, it was still shinny and wet. Hum I thought. so I went to the wd 40 web site and sure as shit right there in black and white it says can be used as a fish attractant or used on baits to keep the looking new! Hum Who would have thought. Just my 2 cents worth! I would still go with the worm oil. It does not smell!
  11. Hello, I have been making soft plastics baits for over 20 years (old school), It seems like this topic of packaging comes up alot. A few years back I did a on line survey of 100 of my customers and found that over 85% of them take the baits out of the package they come in and put them in a worm bag in a binder or into a tackle tray in their bag or boat. Thus my thinking is why would anyone spend the extra money in packaging. (bags) Your customers r just throwing them away! Not to mention if your bags r printed (big bucks) I have been and still use just plain ole poly bags (reclosable) that I buy from u-line I get 1000 bags for around 35 bucks +/- They have 100's of sizes to chose from to fit most apps. I do not belive I have ever had one leak, they do tend to discolor after time but I am talking a year or so down the line. The choice is your's but I always look at the bottom line. i also use larger bags on a roll for my bulk orders and heat seal them I get 5000 bags for around 10 bucks from a private supplier I know. Just do your home work there r some good deals out there on packaging. The package catches the fisherman, The baits catch the fish! I would rather catch fish!
  12. Any glove that protects your hands and you feel comforable wearing. I like the white ones with the black dots all over them, they grip the handle real well but do not protect from the heat. I have a couple of pairs of the ove glove to handle my molds when they get hot but they r very bulky and do not use them to pour. Don't forget about eye protection and a resperator!
  13. Stik bait stink baits HUMMMMMMMM!
  14. Your last sentence says it all!!!!!!!! I live close to Janns and go there to get my coloring and flake only because they sell lure craft!! These guys at janns r a good bunch of guys to talk to but when it comes to pouring soft plastics they don't have a clue. Why do you think their molds and clamps and injectors r so cheap? cause they r disposable!!!!!!! Get yourself some aluiminum molds you won't be sorry.
