  1. Mark, you might want to check the worms. If you're waiting that long to pour the second color, they may SEEM to be ok, but they will come apart when you use them. Try to peel the layers apart at the head where the colors join. If poured correctly, you won't be able to separate them
  2. A west coast company poured worms with mylar in them several years ago. You can get some different looking color combos for sure. There's was one problem. The hooks had a tough time getting thru the mylar on the hook set. They discontinued these after a short time after they stopped selling
  3. the easiest way to make a coffee scent it to dump coffee grounds or instant coffee into your plastic. Be aware that you will not be able to make any light colored baits with this method
  4. You can contact Rainbow Worms at rainbowworms@yahoo.com
  5. Pouring a ribbon or curl tail by hand is not difficult at all. I hand pour tails on grubs from 2" all the way up to 8". Of course, you can't pour the tail as thin as an injected bait, but pouring these is not a problem
  6. It's hard to tell from the pic, but the bait looks like Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper. Why don't you email Basstackle and ask them to send you a couple of samples before you buy the molds
  7. Thanks for the info. How much of the UV Glow did you use?
  8. where can the UV brightener be purchased?
  9. I can pour them for you, but you will have to order around 25-30 of them. The grubs are $1 each plus $5 shipping. Let me know what you decide to do
  10. Here you go! http://www.huddbaits.com/2010/04/14/huddleston-deluxe-awarded-key-patent-on-swimbait/
  11. Are you planning on selling these baits? Huddleston has a patent on the tail and he has been sending letters out.
  12. Shawn is still in business, I just got 3 mold from him
  13. Yes, after a few months, the clamshell will begin to melt
  14. you aren't mixing the plastic well enough. SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE
  15. Huddleston has a patent on his tail, so I'm guessing he has or will contact any mold makers who are infringing. Your best bet would be to make one yourself.
  16. for an order of that size, try Lure Craft.
  17. It doesn't matter where the product is shipped from or where it's going. The buyer should receive an email when the seller actually shipped, regardless of how long it stays in customs. He has not gotten a notice that his product was even shipped.
  18. As Nova said, you need to be careful when/if you are going to reproduce someone else's bait. Look at Lurecraft, they have a lot of RTV fluke molds, you might find something close.
  19. If you have a fluke mold, just use that. It will work just as well as the Banjo Minnow. It's not the shape that catches fish, but the action.
  20. G Loomos is made in Woodland, Waahington. USA
  21. Make sure the pour spout is clean. Take a paper clip and work it back and forth a few times.
  22. I don't think there is a standard for measuring a grub. Some companies measure with the tail "open", some measure it with the tail closed.
  23. Do you want an example of a company that blatantly copies every "good" lure on the market? Pick up a Bass Pro Shops catalog. Look at their XPS series of hard and soft baits. Every hard bait they have is a knock off of a successful lure. They have copied soft baits to make them look identical. Above all, NEVER show them a prototype bait. A friend did this, hoping they would help him market it. The said they didn't think it had a chance. But, in the next BPS catalog, there was the lure, under the BPS name

    Tube Mold

Do I understand correctly? You are injecting the tube with Bear's mold and then dipping and covering the ridges of the tube?
