  1. Thank you, very much for the compliments Ted, I've learned from the best, somebody with nickname Cadman
  2. I've made couple chattrebaits for pike/muskie fishing based on 1 & 1,5 oz minnow heads. Build them for a friend and he was quiet happy with their performance. I used magnum blades from LPO. Trailer grub is 6" grub. Below is the picture:
  3. Does any of you soft baits guru make 6" curly tail grubs like this ? I'm looking for 2-3 colors by 100pc's.

    Lakeland

I order from Lakeland without Tax ID for years. They charge 10% tax on top of your total. Plus if your order less then minimum qty they charge 1$ per each entry. I never sent them email. Usually I place my orders by phone and I've never had any issues with them. Excellent quality and great customer service.
  5. Same problem with Firefox. Works fine with IE
  6. Works fine with IE. (541) 471-1248
  7. GOOGLE ALERT - same here. Firefox
  8. makokeith, Not sure about Olive color. Protec Yellow will stay yellow after baking.
  9. It's a spandex fiber, as far as I remember.
  10. I have a couple questions for thise who already use this product: http://lurepartsonli...-Paint-2oz.html What is your opinion about UV Blast Powder Paint ? How does it work with regullar powders ? Thank you, very much in advance.
  11. Glaukus, Glad to see you and thanks a lot for help with H style mold modification.
  12. I wonder if it could also be the lead that he is using Most likely. I had the same issue couple times and the problem was hard lead mix ( I usually mix pure lead with hard one). I just simply added more soft lead to the mix to fix it. I checked every head since then to make sure they are 100% OK before painting. "If you powder paint the bait, when curing in an oven seems to reset the hook and wire and become solid once cooled." Not everytime , some of the bad heads were painted and baked before I found out the problem with loose wire.
  13. I'm OK wih the eyes size on this mold, but the wholes are too shallow and I couldn't find any better method that drill every whole a littlte deeper. It doesn't take too much time. Can live with it.
  14. Hi Larry, Welcome to TU! There are multiple ways to paint: powder or airbrush or both methods together (powder as a base and details by airbrush). I'd suggest to check couple great video tutorials made by TJ for start. Below is the link to one of them: I'm sure there will be more replies to your questions.
  15. Jim, You can use clevise size # 4 on .051 wire. 3 beads, size 3/16, should provide enough space between back and front blades.
  16. Hi Laker Let me ask couple questions to make it more clear: 1) Use a smaller bead (reducing friction) as my bearing before my clevis? What size of bids are you currently using? 2) Should I use a smaller clevis and if so what is the recommended size for .051? Size #4 works just fine for .051 3) Could my blades I am using be too light in weight and maybe too thin? What gauge of blades do you use ? 0.18 & 0.25 should work with no problem. 4) Is there anything else that I should take into consideration? I'd suggest to use quality ball bearing sviwels to increase front blade rotation to maximum. If you can post a picture of your spinnerbaits it'll help . Let us know.

    Wow! Excellent work!
  18. Been there, done that. I even made my own clevises. Pain on the ... I just want to concentrate my attention to the other aspects of lures making then loose valuable time making blades.
  19. Ted, I was confused myself too and decided to post the information. I hope it helps and save some time for those who use Devcon.
  20. Hi All, I recently ordered(via Amazon) some Devcon 30 minutes in 1oz syringes and when I received the package I noticed that the packages were different then classic Devcon (although the parameters of epoxy were identical). I was about to return it back to seller, but decided to give Devcon a call and ask about new ones. Called ITW tech support and they confirmed that it's same product in new blister. Tested new one (It's called Devcon Home) yesterday and it worked great, like the classic one.
  21. The best quality flashabou is made by Hedron and available from many stores, like LPO: http://lurepartsonline.com/Online-Store/Magnum-Flashabou/Holographic-Magnum-Flashabou.html
  22. Contact Hagen's directly. They have great customer service.
