  1. Hi, I saw some baits the other day that had skirts in what i call "Candy Colors" You could see through the colors like they were hard candy. i'm looking for someone who carries this to sell. Any help would be great.
  2. I'm looking to find two particular old tackle boxes. One was made by Bass Pro Shops called a "Jig N Pig" It held a bunch of pork rind jars and jigs only. It was made in 1985 & 1986. It was white with a green handle and latches. The other box I am looking for is a Plano 8200. The belly of it was a spinnerbait rack that held about 90 spinnerbaits. It hat a split top lid and to flip out racks that split like the lid. If anyone has either and wants to get rid of it, please, let me know. Thanks
  3. If someone were to produce a new series of rods like the Shimano Fightin Rod Series, but, with new technology that made them even more sensitive than the old ones would you buy them?
  4. Hey, I'm looking for anyone that might have an old Mann's "Auger Lizard" floating around in their box. I want to use it to do a 3d model take off. I just need one. Any help would be great.
  5. According to the person riight at Mann's Bait Company, that's what is in every bag of Jelly Worms when you buy them. Blackberry Extract & Mineral Oil.
  6. I found out today direct from one of their reps via E-Mail. They told me it was Blackberry Extract & Mineral Oil.
  7. Does anybody know the ingredients of the oil that Mann's uses on their jelly worms? The stuff thats on them in the bag. I asked them directly if they sold it and they said no. Any help would be great.
  8. Autocad can generate dxf files. The command is "DXFOUT" and like you said the CAM information that is required is within that file. You should be able to again like you said take this file to the machine. Maybe it's time to give a little background information on myself. I am an architect. I have been using Autocad for 12 years and have used all of the releases from 14 to present. I have explored this program pretty intensely. I can tell you this program does a lot more than model. There is a great deal of information in the background you don't see.
  9. The cad program I use is Autocad 2007. I just got a hold of 2008. If i'm not mistaken Autocad was the pioneering company that got Cad/Cam on it's feet. The machine should be able to run a check on the file before it even has to pick up a bit. I'll still post some computer shots of the worm models I am making.
  10. Hey, I can model pretty much any soft bait out there as long as I have a model to use for take-off. If anyone is interested in doing a deal, let me know. I will model a Mann's 6" Jelly Worm and post it to this thread. The beauty of Cad is once I model it once i can scale a 6" to an 8" to a 10" with a click of the mouse. If anyone out there has CAD/CAM abilities and can take my models and cut molds, well the possibilities. I would be interested in entertaining a joint venture.
  11. Since I was asking about the "Mean Green Stick" I figured I might as well ask about some of the other rods I am looking for. All the ones I mention are "Pool cue style rods". 1. BPS had a rod in 1987 called a POWER STICK. 2. Quantum "Quartz Transmitter" was another. 3. Garcia had a few called the "Sensor Touch Series". 4. Daiwa had a "Samurai Rod Series" of this type. I'm hoping that someone has one of these sitting around in their garage and would like to part with it. If anyone can provide information on these rods or has one please, post.
  12. Yeah, that sounds like it. any chance you or anyone else might still have one or more?
  13. BPS put it out in 1987. It was called The Mean Green Stick. There Were casting and spinning models. It was endorced by Tommy Martin in BPS. If anyone has one they got years ago. please let me know if you still want it. Thanks, Tom
  14. I'm looking for the older issues of BPS. 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988 If anyone has them and will part with them please let me know. thanks,
  15. Hey Folks, I'm new to the forum. I am hooked on the old Shimano Pool Cue rods of the Eighties. I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a supplier for the blanks that i would need to re-create these rods. I am fully aware of their design and the way the reel seat is integrated into the blank. I am an Architect and have access to Autocad 3d modeling software. I also have friends with CAD/CAM access. My only downfall so far is the blanks. The butt diameter needs to be approximately .90" and it needs to be fast taper to 3 to 4 millimeters. Any help will be appreciated.
