You guys are right on that. I do have a couple of customers who use my sticks and a few other baits for this presentation but it is still not the same.
There are some colors that will bleed no matter what. But all the color manufacturers make colors that are non bleed. They will usually mark them on their sites or books with a star or some thing. You just need to try to find non bleeding colors.
I noticed this last year about this time, and everyone seemed to think it was due to the "fishing seasons" being over and winter setting in. Not as much pouring going on is what I assumed.
Brian, usually if the sales merit the cost of the mold I will do it. If not I will decline or send them to another guy to get the bait. Just what I do.
I think this is true of all fluorescent colors. I add all color before heating.( In less im working on matching a color). I always add salt before heat I think it helps with keeping the bubbles to a minimum. Just remember to stir alot.
If your looking for smaller quanities you might try zeiners bass shop they sell smaller amounts cheaper than mf. but both have great service give them a try.
