  1. Any idea of a mold that is close to the keitech swing impact swimbait? I have a ripper mold but like me its to fat for my taste.
  2. Oh no, I didnt see that. I do not think thats the same mold I have. Mine has 3 cavities and was $35. They must be different.
  3. Morning folks, I am looking for some suggestions on a mold that would match the bass pro shops speed shad type bait. I have the do-it ripper mold but the baits are fairly large and fat for a 3 1/2" swimmer for smallmouth. Does anyone know of a mold that would match the bass pro shops swim shad in not only length but thickness?
  4. Why when browsing the classified adds why do the pictures not show in the thread and it adds a link instead? Is there a setting or something I need to do on my end?
  5. Thanks,. I just received an email back from Barlows stating the exact same thing Ordered 100 1/0 just to see what they are like. Thanks again.
  6. Thank you. I added it, if a mod could delete this post I would appreciate it. Thanks again.
  7. Morning folks. I am searching for a hook that is similar to the eagle claw 574 extended shank hook that is not bronze. For some reason, for me, the bronze hooks rust extremely quick so I am looking for an alternative to the 574 but it needs to be an extended shank as I will be using it with the ripper mold plastics and other swim bait type plastics. Anyone have any suggestions on what hook I can use, something that will fit in to a mold like below. 1/8th and 1/4 is what is mostly used so most likely 1/0 to 2/0 hooks.

  9. I am assuming thats why the mold was so cheap. I think I paid like $35 for the 3 cavity
  10. Ok thats kind of what I was think what aulrich said. I didnt realize the pictures didnt match the mold, thats kind of funny that I was fooled. I think what I can do is just shoot a color, take the baits out and cut them in half, put them back in the mold and then shoot the top color. Interesting, thanks guys. Would a dual injector type setup shoot both colors? I havent really used a dual injector so I am not really sure how that works but i will read up on it.
  11. Just received the ripper mold, 3 cavity injection mold. But I am at a loss on how to do laminates with these types of molds. For instance in the attached picture the top part of the swimbait is blue where the bottom is white. How would you get these two combined colors with an injection mold. I understand for something like a senko you can open the mold up, pour color into one side, let it cool and then inject the other side for a different color. But for this mold you cannot do that and if you did the sides would be different colors not the top and bottom.
  12. Just wanted to let you all know I made a purchase this week from Zeiners. Jim answered all my questions about the mold before purchase extremely quick and I had the item within 2 days.. I highly recommend this place if you folks are thinking about buying some molds or any other items. What a great experience. Just a quick note, I have no affiliation with Zeiners and it was a just a regular purchase of a mold but they were so helpful I just wanted to add a quick prop for them since most of the time we are quick to point out the bad.
  13. Could not find that mold on their site.
  14. Either reply or send an email to erney@comcast.net
  15. Will do, just sent an email to them. Thank you.
