Nil I think you're right...I bet that 2nd dip is what's weird about the picture. It appears that way looking at the bait where the tails start. I'd just do up your Green Pumpkin, and then dip it in a smoke and call it good....

Yeah, a lot of people's Green Pumpkin's actually cast the brown hue. I see it in that picture (in the tail) as well. Looking at the rest of the bait leads me towards that Black Grape, cuz my monitor is making that bait look kinda purple...maybe it's me and my eyes.

Try adding some Black Grape to your current Green Pumpkin recipe a little at a time until you achieve what ur looking for.

Indeed, I have a bunch of those molds for that Strike King Rage Craw. They don't make the molds anymore, and neither do I. I got the letter almost immediately after posting a pic of them. They watch here, and on other forums as well. Proceed with caution...your best bet is to stop immediately. They'll shut you down.

Jim, Neither of the samples had hard packing when I received them. I received (4) Quart bottles and they all looked good. I have a show all weekend, but I'm going to see how it goes in the pot early next week, won't have time this weekend.

Decent stuff, not great, but decent. I tested out Pourasol and Ultrasol this morning with good results (both Medium & Soft). It's clear. I haven't tried it in the pot yet, but via microwave I found that you need to take your time heating it up. I turned the microwave down to a medium/low setting. Heating it too fast caused micro-bubbles. I didn't experience any scorching even at high temps around 330. Smoke was comparable to other brands, not too bad. Viscosity was good as well, poured very nice. Slight odor to it, but wasn't repulsing. Will I switch over from MF Plastic, not thinking I will. I think the ease of use MF provides is worth the few extra dollars, just my opinion. Definitely a good product though, just not what I was hoping it would be compared to MF plastic.

I use Microsoft Office Live. Decent yearly hosting fee, excellent amount of storage available, simple to learn, very flexible, and PayPal compatible. Like Jim said, there's a ton of available programs for building sites out there. I find it pretty fun to build them. I'm currently building another right now at handpourstore.com

Pinckney, MI is where I live and within a 20 minute radius I know of at least 5 lakes that can/have produced heavyweight 6+ pound fish. To be honest, for inland fishing the Pinckney area is one of the true gems of the state. It's an amazing area for sure....

I have a request into them for samples. It looks very interesting considering the prices. I'm happy with MF, but price is king in this world and if it compares, then I'm sold. I swear by the MF plastics though, it'd be hard to change, but saving money like that cannot be passed up.

Looks like base color Amber Brown, not sure if he carries that color. LC does if he doesn't and that would give you a darn close match prior to flake being added...

There is no hard pack in MF plastic. You don't have to even shake it up. A few different places sell it (and prices are almost identical at each place), and depending where you are located you can save some money on shipping based on who you purchase it from. Of the brands I've tried there's things I like about them all, but I prefer MF. I'm rolling through some Chemionics right now that I received as a gift and it isn't horrible, I just run into less issues with MF in terms of bubbles, smoke, scent, etc...there's more than 1 way to skin a cat though, others say the same for LC, Polyone, Calhoun, and swear by them. You're right, give them all a try and see. Most will send you samples.

Bears and Upperhand are top notch! Never tried LC's heard they're great though...

Used Calhoun, liked it, especially considering the additional heat stabilizer Switched to MF, heard it was great. It's everything and more than I expected and I like it more than Calhoun, though they raised the price. Purchased a few gallons of Chemionics, and though it's consistency for pouring was great, I do get bubbles that require extra attention, and MF never gave bubbles and didn't hard pack. Chemionics seems a tad softer than the MF. There's good and bad with all I'm sure. MF is a tad "oily" for example, but I think of the 3 products I've worked with I prefer MF.

Lurecraft Del-Mart M-F Bears Baits All have a place on the shelf. I use all of them.
