  7. You can buy the Teflon by the foot from Mcmaster Carr, I bought 8 foot, the shipping was more then the material. But 8 foot is a lifetime of this. I also have some I use only for pouring, and others only for painting It is by far better then the factory pins Paul
  8. The teflon is the way to go, I pour my heads with them also, weedguards fit everytime Barlows has them in their website now http://www.barlowstackle.com/Teflon-Base-Hole-Pins-P2186C220.aspx You wont go back to the pins after using them Paul

  11. I have noticed the same thing on all dark colored baits! Seems like if you cure your paint first than UV coat it it doesnt take on the purple hue. It looks AWESOME on a pearl spinnerbait/buzzbait head Paul
  12. I have used it and love it!!!!! I havent used the Devcon 2 ton though so I cant compare the two items There is no smell with the Seal Coat and water clean up. Paul

  14. I have been playing with the teflon pins and they work great, still a good idea to get a 1/8" drill bit incase you have a tight fit. You can ream them out by hand, and the weedguards fit great! I glue mine in with super glue gel, works great and one drop is all it takes Paul
  15. I leave the lead in mine also, the fuller you leave it the less nasty stuff that gets down to the bottom of the pot. Claen mine when it starts getting the "DRIPS", about ywice a year. Paul

  17. I have been using the Matzuo Sickle bend hooks for atleast 4 years now. I havent had 20 bad ones total so far. I buy mine by the 1000, have 2000 in stock now and just got done pouring 2000 4/0 and only had 2 bad ones. Best part about it is I ended up with 2100 hooks, they always give you extras incase. Paul
  18. I use a torpedo heater in my UNinsulated garage when it gets bad out. I can set the thermosat around 55 and it does pretty good. Paul

  22. Eagle Claw is making a Laser Sharp EWG 60 degree hook that is sharp as all get out. I think the model number is B111LS. Barlows has them on there website, if you wantto check them out. Paul
  23. There is a place in Ohio, Fin Feather Fur Outfitters that had some black ones on there shelfs. I was in there last Friday and saw them. Paul
  24. You can also heat your mold by putting it on your lead pot for awhile. When o turn my pot on i put my mold on top, my HOT POT takes about ten minutes, so that is where i start my time. Depending on how cold it is in my shop depends on how long i let it warm up. If your mold id hot to the touch it is perfect. Hope that helps you out.
