We've being kept updated on the news here everyday, some of the footage, especially the personal video footage is harrowing to say the least, Some of it looks like a vision of hell ! I was truly upset listening to the stories of people losses, I dont have enemies, but if I did I wouldnt wish that on them.

Can you give me some idea of what workshops you all have, do you create your masterpeices in the corner of your kitchens or do you have a 1000 sq. foot purpose built unit ? More importantly, what would / should you have done if you had to start all over again ! Im thinking more from the point of view of convenience, safety etc.

Always look on the bright side, its nearly $2 to the £ ! so it'll be half price for the Brits !!!

Although I have already voted in agreement, I would like to put my side of the story, I am a beginner, I need all you people for ideas and inspiration. I have learnt more from this site than anywhere else and am more than willing to contribute money as I consider I will learn much more than my moneys worth. I doubt I will ever be in a position to mass produce lures of a good enough quality for sale to anybody else so all your trade secrets are safe !! You all have to remember we are not all experts and some people (myself especially)need you lot more than you need me !

Can I just say what a pleasure it is speak to people with such well informed and level headed views, it restores my faith in humanity that you are not all 'John Rambo' types ! Bruce, you do not need to stress to us the importance of ignoring newspaper talk, we cant even beleive our own over here let alone anyone elses. With regards my fishing, I mainly fish for Pike, with my personal best being 24 lb. although I have never made a lure yet I intend to start soon, so I am gleaning as much information from you experts as possible !!! Now, if I can just convince you Yanks to drive on the left :-)

Brian, please dont think I was being in the slightest bit derogatory ! You have to remember we tend to mostly hear the bad things that happen over there !

As an Englishman (and proud of it !) I read all your comments with mixed feelings, although I respect without hesitation your rights as a democracy you do make some strange comments. You seem to be under the impression that without firearms you will live in some kind of Stallinist dictatorship, this is simply not true, we manage without firearms ( although admittedly we do have our fair share of gun crime!) and we are one of the most liberal democracies going. Although I agree with your constitutional rights (based on our Magna Carta although we didnt get the 'right to bear arms' bit.!) the only question I have is how do you justify automatic weapons and having lots of weapons just to defend your home. The problem you have is convincing everybody that gun crime is not the guns fault its the idiot behind it !
