  1. Welcome to the forum thesheriff1, You picked a great place to learn, more about your craft. The guys here, are always glad to help.
  2. I have had Bass tackle injectors for some time, and I also have some of the other brands. Bass tackles are hard to beat.
  3. I kept looking at your set up, and scratching my head. Glad you said something about the picture being turned side ways.
  4. Mark, those are nice looking ploppers, I love to fish those things. Kasilofchrisn I went back and checked my twistech, and I was wrong, I have the adapter that will allow only 041 gauge to be used. I spoke from memory, I would have sworn it was for up to 051 gauge wire. I did not mean to misinform anyone. Anyway I like it very well, it suits my needs.
  5. I love the twistech wire former, I've owned mine for a couple of years now. When I bought mine There was a kit that you could buy that you changed out on the former, that would allow you to bend up to 051 stainless wire. It works well. But 051 gauge wire is still pretty hard to deal with.

    Navionics micro sd card

Navionics micro sd card, that covers the state of Kentucky, also would be nice if it had Tennessee
  7. Pretty, good idea. looks like it should work fine.
  8. I have the TwisTech, and I love it. Never had any of the others, so can't compare them.
  9. I do as Smalljaw does, only I add a couple drops of denatured alcohol, to help thin the D2T just a little. It spreads out a little better when you do that, I like the finish it leaves, and it's pretty tough.
  10. Can't go wrong with Devcon D2T. That's what I use when I want a good hard finish. I only use the 30 minute epoxy, not the 5 minute. I'm sure there are other top coats that will work just fine, and maybe a little easier to use, but this is what I use. Just my 2 cents.
  11. Nolan, I like the looks of your master, that's a nice looking bait. I think you were given some good advice. Welcome to the forum.
  12. I use Minnow silver alot, and have for years, and have never had it to spark. Not even when heating up scraps.
  13. Looks like your off to a good start. Nice crawl.
  14. MonteeSS, those are some very good looking baits. Your a very good artist.
  15. That's funny, I sold my 706 molds and bought more 702s. I ' ve caught more fish on the 702s. That's why were're all different. That's what makes the world go around. That's why they make Chevys and fords.
  16. Good looking baits. What paint do you use, Ploypterus?
  17. I have such a mold, that I bought from Canny Creek, when they were in business. I will look at it in the morning, and measure it. Some of the molds manufacturers mark there molds, not exact measurements . I have bought molds, supposed to be 4 inches, and they may be just over 3 3/4 inches. It is not uncommon.
  18. I too, have always found Zeiners to be a great place to purchase from. And there shipping is super fast. They are hard to beat.
  19. If I had known about someone else designing these, I wouldn't have posted the picture. I was going to post one on do-its forum, but I can't post a picture on there site. Too complicated for me , I'm not very computer savvy .
  20. I really like your baits, do you make them from scratch?

    Epoxy

I forgot to answer your last question. BobP gave you great advise about a drying wheel. They are very simple to make, and also inexpensive. If you take the time to make one you won't be sorry . It's just a lot less hassle to just hang it on the turner and go one about your day.,
