  1. Looking for anyone on here that has either or both the 11” fatty swim bait mold or the 14” hanging grub mold from fat guys fishing would like to pay someone for a sample of each bait before buying the mold color doesn’t really matter thanks for your replies!
  2. I am looking for 10mm and 13mm lure eyes Last time I purchased them was from bogs frogs a long long time ago. Is there a place in the states that just sells adhesive eyes? I just seen the place advertised on TU but if you have any other suggestions I all ears Thanks
  3. Actually this is my first attempt at casting hard baits from resin I made one so far and it sinks like a stone. From what I seen on make lure it seems like thirty percent spheres would be a good start. I was hoping some of the experts would give a starting point so I am not waisting that much resin.
  4. does anyone have a good ratio for casting glide baits ? I am using amazing casting resin and am trying to copy a small phantom softail . I also wonder if I can get this lure to work without adding weight. Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
  5. I was wondering if anyone has tried one of the craftwell air brush kits ? If you have would it be a replacement for a regular airbrush? I would think if it works as advertised it would be easier and cost effective (using sharpies) for a low volume lure builder
  6. Does anyone know where I can pick up some blades like the Kramer bros. Revolution blades
  7. I recall an article by Larry Dahlberg where he had good luck trying kite fishing for muskies I was wondering if I could get away with using a smaller kids kite like the kind you get at the dollar store ? ( My son has a diamond shaped one that is about 24" long and about 15" across) I would invest in proper fishing kite if I get bit on this trial
  8. how to change password

  9. I think using a couple split rings and shrink wrapping over the top like the musky guys do on our buck tails
  10. I have been using the fastach clips on my main line for walleyes probably went trough a hundred or so already and never had a failure I even use them on my musky leaders best snap out there.
  11. I use a slip jig mold and cut the collar part off.
  12. They all look nice never used the bar type but I would think if it was really something special you would see a lot more like it but it always fun to try something different by the way I think you should get the one on page 150 maybe two of them!
  13. I like the siphon feed because I buy the caps that fit the bottles the paints are sold in whenever I get a new color so I spray a little pearl switch to a water bottle spray to clear the gun then a little black and so forth no wasted paint
  14. I understand the grinder (with saw blade) and stylus are riding on a threaded rod but how do you return it without having to run it in reverse? Is there a half nut ? or a pin of some sort ? I imagine the top assembly is held against the blank and template with a spring. But I think after going an inch or two it would want to jump threads and return to its starting point. How is this avoided?
  15. It looks like nylon coated 7 strand steel leader material to me
  16. I have 3 iwata eclipse siphon feed airbrushes all work great. I also have a vega 2000 siphon feed airbrush works great also for 50.00 Selling because I don't have the time anymore. Send a p.m. if interested
  17. I think it should work great. I use a few baits thar are similiar
  18. I have caught a lot of fish [walleyes and smallmouth] on the countdown version of the scatter rap I think it is a great bait but the faster your retrieve the more it hunts until you reach a point until it blows out I think it will be around for a while.
  19. I modified an ultra minnow jig mold to make spinnerbaits I bet you could make some awesome chatterbaits by pouring them with both the wire and jig hook and looping the wire through the hook eye. I think BOOYAH make them like this

looks pretty good I wish I would have put bigger fins like you have on yours
  21. On the first three it looks like you could open up a notch in the mold to allow a hook to be place in the mold to make a tube jig. The last mold you have there is a slip jig I have the Do It version of it Ii think it is th most vesatile bait/sinker/mold out there you can do all kind of stuff with them. I lost or broke my pull pin and went to ACE hard ware and bought a pack of 1/16" brass rod to use as a pull pin 1.I clip the collar off to use as an almost exact copy of a martin panther 2.I pour the 1/8 with a wire and hook for a crappie spinnerbait it looks like you can do that to all your cavities 3. I use them as inline spinner bodies 4. like you said bottom bouncers don't be afraid to pour more than one on a wire to make heavier bouncers 5. they make a great swim jig with a piece of wire and a piece of shrink tube to hold the hook up. 6. you can make a chatterbait the same as the swim jig just add a blade 7 .you can use it as it is meant with a skirt 8. slip sinker 9.drop shot wieght If you have any more please post them or pm me
  22. I believe the seal coat jig finish will work if not some of the hard bait guys are using a concrete sealer as a clear coat with good results.
  23. I'm not sure I havent got them yet I called about a month ago and she said my order was do to be shipped that weekend but nothing showed I understand the wait but don't go getting my hopes up and not deliver maybe I will get to try them out next ice fishing season. Thanks for all the replies I will try to make up a quick mold and try to paint from the inside
  24. UV blue/glow red I am wondering how the lure maker makes these baits with the blood line effect any advice would be great I ordered some about two months ago and still have not recieved them so I thought I would try to make a few for myself before the ice goes off the lakes.
