  1. I have some CNC Medal box's for pouring Silicone models, my questions is what do you call the Boxes. I am looking to sell them and I would like to make sure I am labeling them correct. Thanks guys for your help in advance.
  2. Mold Box ok thanks very much Dave
  3. What is this called and do you know what they are worth, I have 4 of different sizes. I have used them for casting RTV molds. Thanks for your help.
  4. I was very luck to pick up some pouring supplies resently from a friend i have some CPC 2101 from calhon and some bottles of RTV catalyst and some silicone curing agent. I dont know what is used with what and how much so i am looking for some help on the subject thanks Jeffcpr
  5. So i revisited the POP molds today and with all this info i was able to finally pour a mold for a swimbait i designed. It worked in the POP mold once i get a chance to poura lure i will post it for eveyone to see. It is nothing special just my first attempt at designing a new bait. Now i just need to learn how to truly pour tge right way.
  6. How do we find the video is it on you tube.
  7. So you pour your silicone over your master lures is that what i am.understanding. I could glue the masters and then use my finger to cover them then add the rest of the silicone correct. My question is still this how do you keep the silicone from.sticking to the master.
  8. Well I poured some jerk baits out of my new silicone mold but it did not work well as all. They are not picture worthy, I will try them on the 6th when I fish newport harbor. I will keep working at it, I will be getting some better mold making materials, but would like to make this work as a cost cutting measure in the long run. Plus I am still very green around the gills when it come to lure making anyway. So thanks very much for the help and the forum, I will be back for more help and I will be sharing all my successes as well.
  9. Ok this one worked or.seems to.have worked the impressions are there i am just waiting for it to cure all the way. If it worls well i will post some pictures and share what i did different . Thanks slamminjack and everyone for your help.
  10. I know it will not pour but will the water make it thinner. I am think maybe i need more water and you said if there is excess it will pour off right. It looks like the first mold did not work but i will try again i am going to work on something smaller this time. Use less silicone i will let you know.
  11. I am hoping it is the cold wealther i have all but one side off now. As the side hit the air the cure up. Now i am.goimg.to take the top off with the help of a pocket knife so far it has fallen apart pretty badly, but i have already got aome more silicone for the next. Each time you do something it is a learning process and mistake will happen so i will let you know how tjis one goes and am already planning the next one.
  12. Ok back to the drawing board after 4 hours of drying it is not coming out of the box sticking to the top bottom and sides and peeling apart. It is a cold day here maybe that has something to do with it. I will give it till tomorrow and try again mean while i am going to get some more silicone and get ready for the next try. Could you put worm oil on the sides top and bottom as well as the clay to help them come out at the end just a question.
  13. My mold is in the box as we speak there hand made clay swimbaits are in it. It was very easy to make just need to see what the end product is going to be. I will share my results later.
