  1. Very good Youtube channel. Thanks for the videos!
  2. Yes, please make a video for dummy's. If I have my files for my baits. What is the process, for dummy's to print in resin. I think it would be beneficial that if someone else did the "modeling" the very average guy could print his own molds.
  3. Thank you Frank, I would need a heated valve or heat band on the valve, Thanks for response.
  4. When buying presto pouring pots, the ones I have bought in the past always has the pouring spout to the outer edge. I understand this is to miss the heating ring that goes around the outer edge. My question is,,,, does the heating ring just go around the outer edge or does it start in the middle and coil to the outer edge. I would like to make a 10 quart pot and put the pouring spout in the middle of the pot if possible???
  5. I talked to them about the product, they sure weren't sure about a couple of things. Call them and they are helpful to make sure i'm not mis quoting them. They could not tell me if heat denting was any better than PVC. They were not sure about pigments and colorants to use and no recommendations, they said they would wait for users to use the product then make recommendations. I thought that was a strange response, then they said they might have pigments and colorants in a couple months. I asked them a lot of questions but forgot the most important and that is how toxic this stuff is.
  6. Is not the simple solution to this, just adjust the hardware you are using? Need more weight up front, use double spilt ring. Need more weight in back, double split and bigger hook. All hardware is at the very bottom of the bait and should have the most effect on "nose up or nose down"?
  7. I'm have trouble finding pre-tapped presto pots and stirrers. I believe my last one was from Bears. Can anyone point me in right direction please.
  8. Can 2 part silicone molds be hand injected. I have never tried, I don’t know it the softness of the silicone Mold could cause a deformity in the bait?
  9. Thanks for reply’s. In search of larger ones than Do-it offers. Will contact ya Fat Guys.
  10. Does any one know of a source to buy aluminum blanks to buy for CNC cutting, preferably with pins already in??
  11. Thanks, this is the type of advice I have been seeking.
  12. I understand, but could it not be configured so I pump out of 55 gallon as I need it heated. Lets say, I'm heating 4 ounces at a time in the heat exchanger and pouring one of my 10 molds that take 4 ounce shots. Can I not just turn off the pump that pumps plastisol to the exchanger, do my business and then turn the pump back on when I want to start cooking plastisol again??
  13. The idea if possible would be to get cooked pastisol on demand for production. It would be for hand pours or possible Jacobs Press. I seen it done, by a company that pours large swimbaits. I just didn't really ask any questions about it since I was a guest in their facility, Thanks for the responses.
  14. Can anyone give me any insight about this type of heat exchanger. The gal in the video calls it a "cooker" at the about the 7 minute mark. What I would be interested in knowing some options for this type of system. I'm not really interested in the injection part. Want to know about the pump pulling the plastic, how to disperse the plastic from the "cooker" and the "cooker" itself. With crap loads of searches in the past all I came up was with very expensive options and really not even knowing if they are like the system in the video. The only one I have ever seen in person looked just like the one in the video, but the user had a small wand and they would pump 4 to 8 oz. of plastisol into a pyrex cup and hand pour or hand inject.
  15. Can anyone suggest a company that makes custom clamshells. The clamshell that is needed is for a swimbait. The type needed will help keep the swimbait form for retail displays, not just the drop in type used for hard baits. I have found a couple but set up fees are high IMO.

    Swimbaits

They are a resin hand pour, when they where a production bait they retailed for around $225 maybe $250. I wouldn't say it is excessive because that is not what the manufacture retailed the bait for, $300 to $600 is what anglers are paying for second hand baits.
  17. Nice looking baits. Is this your mold or a mass produced mold?
  18. Prayers sent, get well Nathan!!
  19. I did a search to all your questions, but the search brought me back to a thread here telling me to search the answers to your question. So I did and I ended up on this thread again. lol

    Wow!!! Very nice Gabriel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Douglas, here is the Hinkle two piece glide. Some refer as the trick trout. Do you feel this is not a long glide???
  22. My Saiko tuned Deps 250 is weighted slightly nose down. Half of tail section above water, nose slightly under water. I should add, this bait is a slow/super slow sinker.
