I watched the YouTube video the other night for this lure and spent the whole time trying to figure out how he came up with the idea. Very interesting process and like always he landed a few during the test run. Great job!
too bad all of the fish i caught were just babies haha but its still fun to catch them

Is that foiled or all paint with texture from the mold?
Those look incredible. Love your stuff.
the details are carved on to the bait and some parts are foiled ontop of that

Excellent miko, treat yourself to small bandsaw! Some Quieter than a jigsaw.
haha yeah you might be right

Fantastic work Mikko. What type of rigging are you planning, some type of harness or what?
Douglas
I use a shallow screw rig that we use over here in northern europe alot. i made a video a while back how to make one if your interested

As usual, you are keeping the bar set pretty high Mikko. Thanks for sharing. It's always good to see your work and it helps me step up my game too. Awesome.

Its very real when u start self harm I know that very deep mind set very very well a lot of people don't step into that world.....just a stab in the dark maybe with your absolute amazing gift you have turn not to lifelover mate turn to the life giver.......im positive you he will meet u right where your at champion. ...love your work...
If im perfectly honest i did it only because of artistic reasons, the guy who ordered this lure from me wanted this theme i just took it little further than most would be willing to take it and actually used my own blood. i feel that sometimes it's good to test your own limits to just explore whats possible and how far your willing to commit your self into something, that way you might actually learn something new about yourself that you did not know before.

I'm a big fan of your work, your attention to detail. This piece however, just doesn't show much talent at all. Just my opinion, keep up the GOOD work Solar.
Douglas
your obviously entiteled to your oppinion but i must say i'm curious why you say that this one does not show any talent, could you elaborate little what makes you say that?
-
That's defiantly different. Lost me a little with the blood idea
if you go and check out that bands live performances you will understand the blood idea

Great piece of work. Watched your painting video of it on YouTube. Are you going to make a video on creating this bait.
nah not this time
-
that is gorgeous. 5.5 oz that is heavy. It would break my rods trying to cast something like that, do you troll with them?
John
these are meant to be used with heavy musky grade rods and reels that can handle big baits like this while casting, normal everyday reel n rod combos are not going to cut it that'
s for sure.

thank you guys

You're a truly talented builder Mikko. Those look great.
