Does anyone have a paint schedule for this bait? Trying to duplicate the Brown and it's been a struggle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I use Gamakatsu 614 in my football jigs. Very sharp and the quality is excellent. You get what you pay for.

Thanks for all the help. Painted a few knock offs and the bills are cloudy. Just wanted to make them look decent. Tried D2T and it bubbled and looks like crap. I will try some moisture cure instead. Thanks again. All your help is appreciated, very much.

What is the best thing to use on crankbait bills, to make them look clear?

Shoot them with a soda blaster. Takes the paint clean off without damaging the bait. I have only seen it done with plastic baits though.

Pretty much all Knock Offs are made in China. Poor Quality and perform nothing like the actual baits. I have tried many. But they are just not the same.

Anyone know where I could purchase, some completed bodies. I just want to paint them myself. Or do I just order parts and build myself. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Doug

I have a buddy of mine who ordered some DN a while back. And he said when he used it on a few lures, that when they dried it was'nt clear. Just starting out and wondering what the best clearcoat option is. He said D2T. What's your opinions. Thanks for your help.
